Housing Options Scotland- Helping Disabled People To Find the Right House,in the Right Place.

We have now changed our name from Ownership Options to Housing Options Scotland to reflect the fact that we provide detailed advice and information on social renting, private renting  as well as of course home ownership .

Everything else remains the same – we still promise to help everyone who needs us and we will never close a case unless the client asks us to.

We have a new logo too and our new Housing Options Scotland website will go live at the beginning of June.

How we work:

The first thing we ask you to do is to complete our Basic Information Form. You can do this online by clicking on to the “get help” link.

If you prefer we can email you a form or send it to you by post. If you require the form in an alternative format please let us know.

Once we receive your completed Basic Information Form we will send you a personalised report outlining all your potential housing options. It normally takes 3 weeks for us to prepare your report. You will be allocated your own caseworker who will work with you to help make preferred option a reality.

Filling in our ‘Get Help’ form

We ask for information on your housing circumstances and also on your finances. In order for us to help you we need to know your income, and any debts or savings you may have. We do not share this information with anyone unless you give us permission and we only ask for information which is relevant to your housing options.
